Return policy for items at Pet Expectations - Updated 02/01/12
Any item (excluding toys, treats or special order Lupine items) may be returned or exchanged to Pet Expectations as long as the items are free from fur and haven't been used within 30 days of the date the order was made. Please return with the item any packaging, tags you have. You must contact me at 800-778-6612 or by emailing me at petexpectations@gmail.com to notify me that you are returning an item. If you choose to receive a refund, the total refunded will not include the shipping you paid.
Lupine custom made items are not returnable they include couplers, triplers, training leads & 3/4" lanyards. Make sure when placing an order for these that you have measured correctly as these items are made to order for customers.
Warranty issues such as chewing or damage to Lupine items that your pet is using need to be returned to Lupine for replacement please see the Lupine Guarantee page for more information. Please do not ship warranty replacements to me, it will only delay your replacement time.
If you are looking for replacement of a retired pattern, please contact me to see if I have it in stock. I'm happy to exchange retired damaged items for ANY Lupine customer, even if you didn't originally purchase it from me.
Moose on the Loose will not be substituted as an exchange for damaged patterns, unless you originally purchased that pattern and it has become damaged.

Pet Tag Issues - if Pet Expectations has made a mistake on the tag, I will replace the tag at no cost to you. If you as the customer made the mistake I will need to charge you again for a replacement tag. Please contact me within 30 days of shipment of tags with any questions or concerns.
If you receive an item from Elmo's Closet that doesn't fit correctly, please contact me. I'll need to contact Elmo's Closet to get an estimate on reshipping as well as to find out if there is a restocking fee. Some patterns do have a fee to exchange. I will contact you with the final estimate and we can at that point make a decision on the cost to exchange the item.
